“This was my first book from this author and it will definitely not be my last. A Scrap of Silk was brilliant. It is fast paced with lots of twists and turns in every chapter. I got to love Antigone and her dog throughout the book and really wanted her to succeed. There was sadness and humour in the book and Virginia captures the heart of the story really well.
